Welcome to the McKinney Municipal Court online payment system. Please note:
- Some types of violations may not be paid online including juvenile citations, underage alcohol and tobacco violations, and violations alleging family violence.
- Failure to make payments by the due date may result in additional fines, fees, and possible warrants for your arrest.
- A processing fee of $2.50 - $3.50 will be applied.
- I understand that by entering my plea and selecting one of the available options, I am waiving my right to a jury trial and waiving my right to receive discovery per Art. 39.14, Texas C.C.P.
IMPORTANT: PAYMENT CHOICES
Please review carefully to choose the correct payment option.
1) DRIVING SAFETY COURSE or DEFERRED DISPOSITION
If you want to pay for either the Driving Safety Course option or the Deferred Disposition option, after accessing your case on the next page, you must choose the WHITE “EXPLORE OPTIONS” tab.
DO NOT choose the blue “Pay Now” tab or this will close your case and constitute a conviction.
Note that you must be eligible for these options. If you are unsure, you may visit the court website to review requirements for these options.
2) PAY IN FULL and CLOSE THE CASE
If you wish to pay and close your case, once you access your case on the next page, choose the blue “PAY NOW" tab.
- Case payment will result in a waiver of a jury trial and a judgment of conviction, which may be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety in accordance with Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Art. 27.14 (c).
- You may choose this option if you wish to pay in full and close the case.
- Fines and warrant payments made after hours, weekends, and holidays will not post until the following business day.
- You may choose this option to make a payment on an existing approved payment plan.
- If a driving safety course was previously granted and you opt to pay the remaining balance online, this payment will constitute a Show Cause hearing waiver and a request for the Court to impose judgment. Payment of the remaining balance may result in a
conviction being reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
